Wait, did you actually invent Manarchist Ryan Gosling?
The meme? Yes. The concept? Not really. It was the brainchild of my friend Malcolm on twitter. After its success as a twitter trend among my friends, my friend Jim and I said MRG would be great as a meme. So a stranger on twitter started the tumblr page, and suddenly a bajillion people submitted their own memes. I think I created 3 memes in total. They were all generally a hit or miss, mostly because somewhere down the line people couldn’t figure out what “manarchists” actually were.
